Booking

How booking works

Arrival

Saturday to Saturday. Check-in from 3pm on arrival day; check-out by 10am.

Deposit

£100 for one week or £200 for two weeks, due within 5 days of booking to secure your dates.

Balance

The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before arrival.

Cancellations

Because it's hard to re-let at short notice, there's no immediate refund on cancellation. We recommend holiday insurance.

Directions to Silversands

Look out for the red phone box. Every route turns there.

From Castlebay ferry terminal

8 miles

Turn left at the T-junction at the top of the ferry terminal exit road. Follow for 6 miles to Northbay Bridge, then turn left at the sign for "Ardmhor and the Airport". Continue 2 miles to the red phone box, turn right, and follow the road to Silversands Cottage.

From the airport

1 mile

Turn left out of the airport and continue for 1 mile until you see a red phone box. Turn left and follow the road down to the beach. Silversands Cottage is on the left.

From Ardmhor ferry terminal

1 mile

Follow the road for 1 mile to the T-junction. Turn right at the red phone box on your right, then follow the road to the beach. Silversands Cottage is on the left.
